Meditate with Power!

God Cares!

I Peter 5:7 Cast all you cares upon Jesus, because He cares for you.

Meditate on God’s Word!  There will be times and days where we just don’t know what to do but throw ourselves at the feet of Jesus.  God’s mercy is without description and is available to us in our time of need.  Near the end of King David’s life, David had sinned against God and threw himself at the mercy of God. David said to Gad, “I am in deep distress. Let me fall into the hands of the Lord, for his mercy is very great; but do not let me fall into human hands.” I Chronicles 21:13  David knew in his time of distress the best thing to do was to throw himself at the mercy of God.

Even during the great prayer of Nehemiah he recounted God’s great mercy to the nation of Israel.  For many years you were patient with them. By your Spirit you warned them through your prophets. Yet they paid no attention, so you gave them into the hands of the neighboring peoples. ³¹ But in your great mercy you did not put an end to them or abandon them, for you are a gracious and merciful God. Nehemiah 9:30-31

If you are in a situation today that requires God’s mercy just ask God’s Holy Spirit to fill you with His hope, joy, peace and the grace that only God can give. This is the God that we serve, who always forgives, always strengthen and always is there in our time of need. Do you not know?  Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. ²⁹ He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. ³⁰ Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; ³¹ but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.They will soar on wings like eagles they will run and not grow weary,  they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:28-31 God cares, deeply for you!
